Cenamps in collaboration with the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is managing and delivering PETeC and has gathered the funds to build and operate the centre from regional, national and European sources.
Cenamps works in collaboration with multinationals, high-tech start-ups, investors, government agencies and leading universities who wish to exploit the commercial opportunities offered by the convergence of today's Micro-Nano-Bio technologies.
The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) was established by One NorthEast as a UK wide resource to stimulate and drive innovation within the Process Industry. Working with global industry partners and leading research universities CPI are committed to delivering world-class, groundbreaking applied research and development.
PETeC has received support from the following:
One NorthEast is the Regional Development Agency covering North East England, comprising Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Tees Valley. The Agency's vision is to create a vibrant, self reliant, ambitious and outward looking North East England together with the benefits of living, working and doing business in the region.
PETeC receives support through the European Regional Development Fund to regenerate the North East England region and create a vibrant economy.
The Northern Way is a unique collaboration between the three Northern Regional Development Agencies: Yorkshire Forward, Northwest Regional Development Agency and One NorthEast. The Northern Way focuses on tackling issues that are important for the whole of the North and which cannot be tackled by one region alone.
The County Durham Development Company (CDDC) is the inward investment and local business support arm of Durham County Council. CDDC's aim is to promote and develop business and manufacturing opportunities within the County.
NETPark is the North East's science, engineering and technology park, dedicated to the commercialisation of R&D. NETPark is the fastest growing science park in the UK, located in the heart of North East England with easy access to Europe.
Sedgefield Borough Council is the planning authority for NETPark and plays a key role in maintaining the standard of development at NETPark. Sedgefield Borough Council is firmly committed to the development of NETPark, and views the project as central to its aim of promoting the economic and social regeneration of the Borough.
Durham County Council has successfully developed a number of strategic sites, industrial estates and business parks at key locations throughout the County, and leads the NETPark development partnership. Durham County Council has always committed the full weight of its commercial property development resources to ensuring the long-term success of NETPark and PETeC.
