Electronic Device Measurement Technologist

Salary (£): 27,000 to 33,000 Per Annum

To work, as part of a team, reporting to the Senior Electronic Device Process Developer, in developing and implementing measurement and characterization methods for electronic devices based on organic/inorganic materials and to generate scientific and technical knowledge which can be used to expand the level of business brought into the PETeC centre. Relevant experience in device measurement and a master’s or doctoral degree in a suitable discipline (physics, electronic engineering) are essential. Understanding of organic based devices, e.g. organic transistors, is preferable.  The position requires a candidate with a high degree of scientific acumen who is able to take on new ideas and concepts without major difficulties. Also the candidate will work closely with PETeC customers so will require a delivery focused attitude.

Electronic Materials Printing Technologist

To work, as part of a team, reporting to the Senior Electronic Device Process Developer, in developing and implementing ink formulation and printing electronic devices based on organic/inorganic materials  and to generate scientific and technical knowledge which can be used to expand the level of business brought into the PETeC centre. Relevant experience in ink formulation and printing techniques is essential. A master’s or doctoral degree in a suitable discipline (chemistry, material science) is essential. Understanding of organic based devices, e.g. organic transistors, is preferable. The position requires a candidate with a high degree of scientific acumen who is able to take on new ideas and concepts without major difficulties. Also the candidate will work closely with PETeC customers so will require a delivery focused attitude.
