To work, as part of a team, reporting to the Senior Electronic Device Process Developer, in developing and implementing measurement and characterization methods for electronic devices based on organic/inorganic materials and to generate scientific and technical knowledge which can be used to expand the level of business brought into the PETeC centre. Relevant experience in device measurement and a master’s or doctoral degree in a suitable discipline (physics, electronic engineering) are essential. Understanding of organic based devices, e.g. organic transistors, is preferable.  The position requires a candidate with a high degree of scientific acumen who is able to take on new ideas and concepts without major difficulties. Also the candidate will work closely with PETeC customers so will require a delivery focused attitude.

Electronic Materials Printing Technologist

Salary (£): 27,000 to 33,000 Per Annum

Relevant experience in ink formulation and printing techniques is essential. A master’s or doctoral degree in a suitable discipline (chemistry, material science) is essential. Understanding of organic based devices, e.g. organic transistors, is preferable. The position requires a candidate with a high degree of scientific acumen who is able to take on new ideas and concepts without major difficulties. Also the candidate will work closely with PETeC customers so will require a delivery focused attitude.
