Over a timescale of more than 30 years, Teruo Tohma has a breadth of experience in project and business management mostly within Pioneer. This includes optical disk manufacture including a 4 year spell managing the business from West coast, USA, R&D Manager in GaN LED blue laser, OLED, etc
In 1993, Ted became involved in the development of OLED displays, and in the 90’s as MD of Pioneer OLED, led the Pioneer team into mass production, the first company in the world to manufacture and market PM- OLED. More recently, Ted has become an international technology and business consultant for a range of hitec electronics companies and businesses, involved in display products and materials, lighting, TFT backplanes, and processing equipment. He is best known for his extensive expertise in OLED displays often participating at International conferences and as a prominent member in organizing committees.
