Dr Martin Walkinshaw
Customer Programme Manager
Martin Walkinshaw is a semiconductor device physicist with ten years’ experience in process engineering and development, both at microelectronics and display manufacturing facilities. His knowledge spans from starting up processes, to working in process and yield improvement at large scale manufacturing companies, such as Philips Semiconductors, and Filtronic.
Martin has led teams working on process and installation projects, yield teams and deputising leading manufacturing operations.
He was awarded an Institute of Physics conference Prize and an official commendation from Philips for the fast completion of an installation project.
Martin’s role is to oversee customer access to the equipment, managing the day-to-day clean room activities, implementing clean room safety and quality standards, and ensuring IP and confidentiality are protected.
